Offering support and continuity of care through your antenatal, birth and postnatal days.

Hi, I’m Clair

I’m a mama to one, wife, daughter, sister, auntie and friend.

I live with my husband and our little girl, in my hometown of Shepton Mallet in Somerset, where I grew up. My family is very important to me and they are the driving force and inspiration for all that I do.

When I’m not working, I can be found spending time with my loved ones. Whether that be enjoying a walk, doing something active or eating delicious food at a local restaurant before heading out to enjoy some live music or a show. I equally love being in the comfort of my own home, eating a nourishing home-cooked meal, enjoying time with my family, practicing yoga and meditating.

I’m a born empath, living my life offering my care and support to others in any way that I can. I love listening to people’s stories and thoroughly enjoy spending many hours getting to know someone new. In fact, my husband, Kev, was always amazed at what I would learn about customers when they came to visit me in the shops I worked in back in my retail management days!

My passion as a doula is fuelled by a desire to support you during your transition into parenthood; to help you achieve empowered, memorable and life-affirming experiences for your whole family, so you can set the foundations for a positive future together.

This is your birth and your story and I would be honoured to be invited to join you on your journey.

If you would like to get to know me better and understand how I can support you on your parenting journey, drop me a message so we can arrange a connection meeting.

“Clair is one of the most wonderful people I have ever met. She really radiates positivity which is just so vital in those weeks after having a baby.”

— Ashleigh

What I offer

I’m a Continuum Doula meaning I’m heavily focused on delivering continuity of care.  My services are available during the antenatal and postnatal period and I have various options to suit all budgets.  I support families in a range of ways; as their Continuum or Postnatal Doula, through Trauma Recovery, Mindful Breast/ Chestfeeding Support or Antenatal Preparation Workshops.

My approach to working with families is very flexible, as I recognise that all families differ and therefor, the support they require is individual too.  I take time to get to know every member of your family, listen and tune into your daily lives.  I then slot in where you need me to.

I am devoted to helping you find the right path for you, by holding space to discuss your options with an empathetic ear and no judgement.  I will offer unbiased, evidence-based information and resources which will enable you to make your own informed decisions.

The arrival of a new baby is one of the most special times in your life and my goal is for you to achieve the most positive experience possible, so you can look back on your memories with fondness and a full heart.

If you would like to find out more about how I can support you and your family, get in touch with me today, so we can set up a connection call.

“Clair is a very empathetic and kind person. Nothing is too much trouble and she has become part of the family.  She is very good at support and listening without necessarily putting her own personal views across.  I cannot fault her, she has been brilliant from day 1, getting on well with all the family and going above and beyond in support.

“If a doula were a drug, it would be unethical not to use it.”
