Postnatal Doula

£550 per 18 hour package or £32 per hour

As your Postnatal Doula I will offer you and your family the physical, emotional and practical support both you and your baby need as you adjust to the early postnatal days. Tapping into your intuition, I will hold and guide you through this phase of parenting.

Package Features

18 hours of postnatal support

Minimum of 3 hours per visit

To be used within 6 weeks

In-person and remote support for you and your family from the beginning

Additional hours can be added at request

Before your baby arrives, we’ll take time together to prepare for the postnatal period. We’ll explore the kind of support you might need, what to expect during those early weeks, and how I can best be there for you. Together, we’ll create a personalised postnatal wellbeing plan and talk through any common concerns or challenges you may be anticipating.

Once your baby is here, I’ll visit you at home to provide hands-on support as you and your family adjust. I’ll help put your postnatal plan into action and ensure you feel supported every step of the way.

My care is always tailored to your unique needs. This could include emotional support, compassionate and non-judgemental parenting guidance, access to up-to-date, evidence-based information, birth debriefs, feeding support and education, as well as practical help around the house—like light cleaning, meal preparation, laundry, dog walking, childcare, or simply giving you the time and space to rest and recover.

With my knowledge and experience, I can also share helpful resources and connect you with trusted professionals, all while holding space for you to grow into the parent you want to be.

You are the expert on your baby—my role is simply to walk beside you and help make your journey a little easier in whatever way you need.

You are under no obligation to book any further services from me. However, if you would like to extend your postnatal support, additional hours will be charged at a reduced rate.

  • “Clair was a phenomenal help for me and my partner with some postnatal doula support. We had some unexpected illnesses and complications, and so extra help was invaluable through the rollercoaster early months. She brought a calming presence, enthusiastic practical support and wise advice. It kept us all calm and sane, and smoothed the difficult transition back to work while still getting the hand of our first child.”

  • “Knowing that you have a reassuring voice at the end of the phone, someone who is well trained, knowledgeable, caring and is invested in the mother’s needs as well as baby’s, means so much when you’re learning all about your new baby and yourself.”

  • “Clair is an absolute joy and has been a constant postnatal support. I highly recommend Clair as a doula to every parent as not only is she there for the baby but also looks after both parents and offers physical and mental support and recommends all sorts of follow ups. She ensures you have and make time to relax which is so very important.”

  • “Clair's physical support has been incredible. She attended many appointments with me after being signposted to a specialist and I couldn't thank her enough for helping me attend some very difficult appointments that put me under emotional strain. Clair remained completely professional but made it feel like a good friend was with me.”
